WOMEN AND TROUSERS

Deuteronomy 22 : 5 "A Woman should not wear which pertain to a man,neither shall a man put on a woman's garment for all who do so are an abomination in the sight of God" Is this verse saying that women should not put on trousers. In Africa,Nigeria to be precise,some Christian believes any woman that put on trousers is condemned to hell. Are they right? since it is written. But is this scripture actually saying women should not wear trouser?

Looking down the history of trouser, let see if in the mind of the designer that trouser are actually  meant for men.
 * In Asia both men and women have long worn  pants(trousers) for warmth,comfort, and convenience. In Greece and Rome men and women wore tunics.
* In the fourth centuries,women in the Western world wore pants(trousers)which are adapted from the Persians. At that time pants(trousers) are considered unmanly.
*After the French revolution,Men took off their high heels,silk stocking and wigs,and began wearing trousers.
*In the nineteen century women wore trousers to ride on horses,but they hide it under their full skirt.
*Jeans was the first trousers that put men and women on equal terms.
*Until 1970 it was not fashionable and sometimes against the law for women to wear pants(trousers) in offices, classroom and restaurant in the US.
So you can see for different time the sex of trousers changes from men to women. so for a particular time trousers are women's and at a particular time are men. But recent time it is unisex.
If you look critically at the verse the word 'wear" we can wear cloth, wear appearances,wear perfumes. So the context of this verse is more than just clothing

During the time of Moses,when this scripture was read to the Israelite there was no skirt and blouse as we wear today,both sexes wore flowing garments comparable to the women's dress. What then does Moses mean by 'women not wear what pertain to a man and man woman"
Wear means to "put on" which mean a woman should not wear the attribute of a man which in other words means "HOMOSEXUALITY" A woman turning herself to a man or wanting to be a man and  verse versa.
Leviticus 20:13 gives us an enlight of Deuteronomy 22: 5
Moses commandment was a warning against what has eaten the society so deep,homosexual. Moses was telling the Israelite that they should deceased from it because this what what they learnt from Egypt.  Women should not behave like men,sleeping with her fellow women,and men should not do the same,"woman should not wear what pertain to a man". Wearing can also mean act as men. Deuteronomy 22:5 is speaking against homosexuality. If the scripture was talking about clothing then what are we to say?
