HADASSAH

One night with the king is based on a novel "Hadassah" the movie follow a young Jewish lady name Hadassah (Tiffany Dupont) who lived in ancient imperial Persia during the reign of King Xerxes (Luke Goss).  Orphaned as a child, she had been raised by her kind, wise uncle Mordecai (John Rys-David), who worked as a scribe in the king palace. Political turmoil in the king's house forces him to cast aside his queen and look for another replacement. Despite the fact that the Jewish were the bottom of the Persian totem pole, the beautiful Hadassah was conscripted into the king's harem as a candidate to become queen. There she was  trained for her queenly duties under the rough but encouraging eye of the intimidating royal eunuch Hagai (Tommy Lister.)
For her protection, Mordecai gave Hadassah a new name, Ester, and encouraged her to keep her Jewish identity as a secret. After winning the king's heart with her simple beauty and her gorgeous spirit, Ester was chosen queen. Meanwhile Haman the Agagite (James Callis), who sport a 500 years-old blood grudge against the Jew slowly get his way up to the Persian political food chain. When he get close enough to the top, he spun a plot that pit the empire against the entire Jewish nation. It fell on Ester to save her people at the risk of her own life by revealing her true identity to her husband the queen.

 Tiffany Dupont acted as Ester, she was born in Corolado USA, in May 22, 1986. She graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, Virginia in 1999
