OLU OF WARRI TURNS BORN AGAIN

After giving his life to Christ,the Olu of Warri, Ogame Atuwase according to the tradition of the people have defiled the order of Kingship by abolishing some of the ancient Itshekiri culture practices. This as led to serious protect by angry Indigenes who believed so much in their culture, in Warri Delta State who took to the street destroying things and setting tyres on fire, but for the sudden intervention of the State Governor, it would have resulted into lost of lifes.
The Olu of Warri gave his life to Christ, he built a Foursquare worship center in his palace. He made an announcement on the 4th of September 2013 that thre is now a new order of the Iwere Kingdom, and that the "Ogiame" title that ad been in existence for over 500 years would no longer exist because it is associated with the river goddess and he want to serve the one true God. He said "I also repent from the name and title  of "Ogiame" that my ancestors and I have borne, as it connotes our allegiance to Umalokun (goddess of the river) and other deity of the sea, all of which are false gods."
Today i denounce all our allegiance to umalokun the goddess of the sea and other gods associated with it,either in the sea,on land, or in the sky . On behalf of the royal bloodline, the throne of the people of Iwere Land, i publicly enter a new convenant with God."

The elders are angry, because there are indication he did it without consulting the elders of the land,he had been asked to retract his statement,but the King hold firm to his declaration. There is no going back on his decision. 500 women have embark on a protest against the new law of the Oba, as reported.

JIM REEVES IN MEMORIAM

Jim Reeve was one of the best of the "Nashville Sound" style country and western singer. His widespread was not only in the United States but in Britain, India, Scandinavia, and South Africa. He was born in 1923 in Panola County, Texas. After college he began to pursue a professional career in baseball, but was sideline by an injury to his leg while a pitcher with the Houston Buffaloes. For a brief period of his life he became a full radio announcer. He began his recording career in 1945 and also composed his own song. The peak of his carrer came up in the late 1959 to early 1960 with the success of the single "He'll have to go." Which reached number 2 in the US hit record charts and number 12 in British, ultimately reaching 3 million in sales. After his success he made successful tour of the US, Scandinavia, and South Africa where he starred in a film, Kimberley Jim(1963) (released in the U.S in 1965) and recorded songs in Afrikaans local language. Jim was a well know singer with the velvet voice and the gentlemanly manner. Jim had been planning more tours and television appearances at the time the tragedy. His Beechcraft Deboniar aircraft went down in bad weather on July 31, 1964, in Hendersonville, Tennessee, near Nashville, he died with his business manager. Mary Reeves, Jim widow kept all her late husband recording unreleased after his death in backlog and had them release little by little which yielded a great success over the years that younger executives in the record business need to be reminded that Jim has been long gone.

PROPHESY ON SYRIA IN THE BIBLE(IS THIS THE END?)

The intense going on over the mayhem in Syria is sky rocketing. With the President of America, Barack Obama, working hard to see that the Congress approves the attack on Syria for its use of chemical weapon. Christians are scared it may lead to the fulfillment of one of the prophesies on the end time in the bible.
Isaiah 17:1 "Behold Damascus (Syria) will cease to be a city and it will become a heap of ruin." Which some Christians is coming to pass.
In Syria the fierce civil war between the President Bashar al-Assad supports and rebel forces seeking his outer have cost the lost of over 100,000 of people over the last two years and Christians are beginning to speculate in blogs and website if truly, this is the end.
With the grown speculation that the Syria regime  used chemical weapon in an attack in a Damascus suburb on August 21, killing 1,429 people, including at least 426 children. The attack led Obama's plan as to bomb Syria as Punishment.
Even as the possible US Military action dominated news last week up today is giving a high indication we might be heading towards the fulfillment of Isaiah 17.

BISHOP TD JAKES IS NOT GREATER THAN THE SPIRIT OF GOD

This image had caused a lot of criticism in the media. I don't know why people are surprise seeing Bishop TD Jakes fall under the Anioiting when  Pastor Tyler Perry prayed for him. You can never withstand the glory of God. Jesus said " a servant cannot be  greater than his master. So can TD Jakes be greater than the Spirit of God. It was not Tyler Perry prayer that made TD Jakes to fall, it was the power behind the prayer. If it were verse versa the same thing would have happened to Perry. So  why is the media making mockery of the whole event. Tomorrow people will start saying TD Jakes is possessed. He is not, he received greater grace to do the work of God and he couldn't withstand the power behind the grace. I tell you next time TD Jakes preaches, you will see the difference, more power will be flowing. I hope i have cleared the air, so don't be suprise you saw this on net.

The man who played Jesus in Mel Gibson film "the passion of Christ" is a respectable actor with a respectable career. Many moviegoer have been stirred by the film, the Passion of Christ. But only a few select know what it took to make a film of such a great importance. This is the part 1 of the interview.
This is an interview with Scoot Ross of CBN
Scott Ross: How old were you when you played in the film?
Jim Caviezel (Jesus): When i accepted the role, i got a phone call from Mel. He said "Hi this is Mel." "Mel who?" For some reason, Mel Gibson, Tom Cruise- that was how i know them.I don't just know them by first name. He said, "Hey Jim, this is Mel, he starting taking about the movies and talking me out of the role.
Scott Ross: "Talking you out of it?,this is after he offered it to you?
Jim Caviezel: The next day, he said "I want you to be aware of what you are going to go through. You may never work again." He said that to me severally in public. I told him, "This is what i believe,Mel, we all have to carry our cross, i have to carry my cross, if we don't learn how to carry our crosses we all will be crushed under the weight of it. So let go and do the film." And we did it.
Scott Ross: How old were you?
Jim : i told Mel " it is eerie. My initials are J C and i am 33 years." That was it.
Scott: What was your initial gut response to it?
Jim: I was half exhilarated and half terrified, honestly, i found myself in this condition all the way through.
Scott: What did you bring to it, not just as an actor,but how do you prepare to play the Son of God?
Jim: This is a great question, how do you prepare?, by fire. Looking back there are two words, "unquenchable fire." What was hard was the physical, the suffering. Makeup time started from 2.00am and went down till 10.00am, that alone, the boredom, not just that, the sitting position was uncomfortable. After day in day out of this, plus the  hypothermia and also had a separated shoulders. It force me to pray sometimes i go to a place of something deep because i was going crazy.
Scoot: You said you went to pray, is that something you believed in prior to the part?,You are a believer?
Jim: Well there is no question that i believe. Why would you subject yourself to such persecution unless you know that that's the truth? And let me tell you what i was going through on that cross. Many people who looked up there, i may be playing Jesus, a lot of time i felt like i am Satan. I had obscenities wanting to come out of me, it was so cold, it was like a knife coming through me. I had hypothermia, on that very day i had hypothermia i was cold, i could barely utter the lines out. My mouth was shaking uncontrollable, my arms and legs went numb. I was suffocating on that cross. In the mean time you watch people have coffee and laugh. They were very indifferent of what i was going through on that cross.
Scott: The whipping and scourging are hard to watch because that went for a long time, i was literally counting the lashes, a lot of viewers turn away their face because they couldn't continue to look
Jim: You said something critical,people turn away their face away not to see it.; And what they are seeing is their own sin,so they could not bear to see it. It is difficult, sometimes to deal with your sin. The film was design so that you won't see yourself the way you want to see it but the way God want to see you.
Scott: What part of this film had the greatest affect on you. Is it possible to isolate a moment or time?
Jim: Oh boy!!, there is something that happening during the filming i can't even describe. I felt like a great presence fell inside me during the filming. The prayer that came to me was, "I don't want people to see me,but to see Jesus. That was what i wanted that anything.

Bishop David Oyedepo was born September 27 1954 in Osogbo but in a native Omu Aran, Kwara State. He was born into a mix religious family, his father,Ibrahim was a Muslim healer and his mother Dorcas was a member of the Eternal Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, a branch of the Aladura Movement in Nigeria. He was trained by his grandmother who taught him the virtue of Christian ways and also the importance of tithing. He studied architecture at Kwara State Polythenic and worked briefly with the Federal Ministry of Housing Ilorin before resigning to face the work of God he is known for today.
Bishop Oyedepo received a  mandate from God in an 18 long hours vision in may 1981 to liberate the people of the world from the operation of the  devil through the word of God. This inaugural vision led to the of the known Living Faith Church World Wide also known as Winners Chapel. It was first called the Liberation Faith Hour Ministry in 1981.

POWER TO CREATE

NEVER FEAR TO CREATE.

Create means bringing something into existence. There is no sign of the existence of that something before it was fashioned out. Another definition says “cause something to happen as a result of an action” . Action is the forerunner of create; action must be put into place before you can create anything. Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” This was a the first thing God did was to create the heaven and the earth from verse 2 (Genesis 1:2), the earth was without form or void, that is to say the earth was empty and had no form, you cannot tell the shape of the earth, there was no definition in using to describe the shape of the earth, so the bible used “without form and void.” God was not discourage when he saw that the earth was shapeless after creating the earth, He moved into action, verse 3, using the word of his mouth to shape up the formless earth. God was the author of creator, and He has given us His spirit (Hebrew 11:3) . 1 Kings 17:1 Now Elijah the Tishbite was a prophet from a settler of Gilead. “As I serve the Lord, the God of Israel.” Elijah said to Ahab. “As surely as the Lord lives, no rain or dew will fall during the next few years unless I command it.”

Elijah used the God in Him to stop the rain from falling, everyone in this world have an infinitesimal fraction of God in him. You have to start using the God in you to start achieving your world, create anything you want to create with the word of God. James 5:7 “Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six month.”  James was saying if Elijah can stop rain from falling then we can do betterThe word in our mouth was made to be used to create. What situation are you going through and you think you are done, use the word and create a world of your own from the world of void that you are in. Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” If you love your tongue you will create with it, any situation you don’t like in your life you will create a new one, and make life sweet. Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace to the hearer.” Encourage yourself, when situation stares at you with bad omen change it, create a good one. Stop lamenting over failed project, create a successful project, when you fail, pick up your pieces, tell yourself “ am getting there” do the project again, if you fail again, continue and you will be surprise to see how it will change. Have you been told you can never have a child of your own, create a child, go back to the hospital and tell your doctor “I can now have a child let’s take another test, if the test shows again that you can never have a child, speak to your womb and go back to see the doctor for another test, you must create your child. Create a good job, create a good husband, and never stop creating. When you get tired of creating that is when you fail, when you believe in God and create you will be surprise to see the result. The power to create is given to us. Psalms 82:6 tells us that we are gods, the son of the Most High God. The Lion will bring forth lion; lion cannot give birth to sheep. If you are the son/daughter of the Most High, then you are the most high, your realm is not of this world, so you create from the high to the low. If God can create, then we can create. Stop all those limitation you bring, limitation are for mere men, you are a god, you do not have limitation. John 10:34 Jesus emphasized that we are gods. What prove again do you need to start changing anything you don’t like as a Christian. For all these to happen there is only prove you need to believe what I have posted is in Hebrew 11:1, “the evidence of things not seen” so my evidence are not seen, you need to create them, all these  cars, computers, laptop, Android, and so on where not in existence in the 18’s century, they were created. Then why can’t you create your?

FIXING A BROKEN MARRIAGE

Fixing a broken marriage is a task we ought to learn whether you are praying not to have one but you can always help those in it when you are equip with the necessary word and verse of the scripture you can use to heal the victim of broken marriages. Anger….fear…despair…guilt….shame….when marriage is broken  by  immorality, the core struggles of the heart set to place. When one spouse has seriously hurt the other, is it impossible to fix the marriage? . Like a writer said “My wife has an antique plate that was once broken. I was able to glue it back together and it withstands all but the closest scrutiny." A broken marriage is like that antique, the crack will be there but once the spirit of God is invited in the matter, it will be so well glued that it will be unnoticeable. How can this be done? How can you bear loving an adulterous spouse? Will you ever be able to cope without being irritated by his/her presence? Will you ever forgive or forget the immorality and infidelity caused? These are some of the questions asked by the offended spouse during reconciliation of broken marriage. So what must you do to fix your broken marriage?

FORGIVE

   The first thing the offended spouse must learn to do is forgive, this is the hardest and the first part to reconciliation, even Jesus stressed to Peter the importance of forgiveness. Luke 17:3-4 says “Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying , I repent: thou shall forgive him Wait a minute, you mean if I forgive my spouse for immorality and she goes back to it again and asked for forgiveness, I should forgive her. No man/woman in his/her right sense will be forgiven of such enormous crime and go back, any that do such, needs counseling and prayers. But you will need God’s strength for you to be able to forgive, immorality act done by your partner is very difficult to deal with, it gives a scar that is very difficult to heal away, it brings stigma, the offended avoiding the offender. When you see your partner, the imaginations of the offence come into your heart. You start seeing her making it with the person the act was committed with. It is very difficult with our human strength but I believe with God all things are possible

LOVE

Ephesians 5:33 “Nevertheless let everyone of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” When you've forgiven your spouse for whatsoever doing, the next giant step is to love him/her as much as you loved when you were new in your marriage. That is why I said earlier you must allow God to take over. 1 Peter 1:22 “Having purified your soul by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart",God is not the author of confusion,He knows we will err that is why He had given us a way of escape from sin. Learn to love your spouse because that is when you too needs each other. He/she want assurance from you that you've forgiven him/her and the only way to re-assure is to love her genuinely. Pray for God's grace to do this without allowing the devil to speak to your heart,guide your heart with the word and you will see how you will conquer.

HONESTY

Philippians 4:8-9 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things (are) honest, whatsoever things (are) just, whatsoever things (are) pure, whatsoever things (are) lovely, whatsoever things (are) of good report; if (there be) any virtue, and if (there be) any praise, think of these things.” This scripture say it all, after all the offences, think good of your spouse,give deaf ear to what people will say,give your partner all the support needed. Matthew 19:26 “Jesus looked at them and said “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

DIVORCE AND WHAT THE BIBLE HAVE TO SAY

Marriage is the first institution established by God in the book of Genesis 2,it is a holy covenant which is the symbol of relationship between Christ and His Church. Most Christian leaders teach that is to be seen as the last resort when all effort to reconcile an unbearable marriage is abortive. Just as the bible teach us to be very careful when going into marriage,divorce should also be avoided as scary as a plague. Honouring and keeping your marital vows is one thing that honour and glorify God,God is happy whenever He see that  couple are living happily. What does the bible really say about divorce,are there any bible evident that support divorce and why?

1 Corinthians 7:10-17 "To the married i give this charge(not I,but the Lord):the wife should not separate from her husband(but if she does should remain unmarried or should go back to her husband)..." God shun separation of couple that is why He spoke through Paul using the word "Should" in any situation a woman must not think of divorce neither the husband,if any thing should happen that will warrant separation they should both remain unmarried or if they marry they have committed adultery. Malachi 2:16 gives us an insight of what divorce is,it shows that a man that divorce his wife i wicked because the man duty is to protect the wife,then you know the end of a wicked man. On what ground then must divorce take place,what must the spouse hold on for him/her to say she is filing a divorce paper or she want a separation.Matthew 5:31-32 "It was also said,'Whosoever divorce his wife,let him give him a certificate of divorce.'But i say to you everyone who divorce his wife,except on the ground of sexual immorality,makes her commit adultery,and whosoever marry a divorce woman commits adultery."

Jesus gave us a reason for divorce if the man or woman is caught in the act of immorality apart from this,there is no excuse for divorce.

1 falling out of love with your spouse.

3 The marriage is not the will of God for me.

4 We are incompatible

5 He/She lied to me before marring

6 I am happy without him

These and more are unacceptable reason for separation if your marriage is in danger seek for counseling,and see the positive way to make your marriage work. 

IS MASTURBATION A SIN?

Masturbation is one of the issue that is bordering Christendom,there is no record in the bible that mention anything about masturbation,and most time our preacher are skeptical about the topic ,they doubt if they preach it how will they back it up with the verse of the scripture. It is a matter that need to be cleared once,it shouldn't be left out. The bible was not clear about masturbation but it was clear about lust,and lust and masturbation are bond together,i mean they come in one handy,it is difficult to practice masturbation without lusting.Though some do it without lusting especially those who are addicted to the act,they believe there is need for them to do it on a daily basis to fulfill their lust desire.(Matthew 5:28).Jesus talked about "in the heart" when a man look at a woman lustfully have already committed an adultery in his heart. When you look at a woman lustfully,a lot of indecent imagination goes in the heart,so when you masturbate there is an indecent imagination going on in your mind.(Proverb 4:23).The mind is where the battle ground is,once the devil capture your heart with indecency,alot of things go wrong. Masturbation comes as a result of pack-up thought in the mind,maybe through indecent films and books.Sexual thinking causes a chemical reaction in the brain,when ever you watch indecent film the image is store in your brain and when it piles up it causes this chemical reaction in the brain,and as christian when you see that sex is a sin and the bible say nothing about "masturbation" we jump into it.But when masturbation the images you saw in those film or pictures flashes into your mind and it is "lusting in the heart" and that make it a sin. The only way you can conquer this is setting your mind on things of heaven.(Colossians 3:2).If you are struggling with masturbation and other sexual issue,ask for help when added.

WHO IS THE ANTICHRIST?

You will be expecting me to start calling names or reveal to you the name of a prominent person and say "that is the Antichrist". The bible give us the person the Antichrist is.So i won't be given names,when the bible give us the description of the Antichrist. Many people are saying the present president of the United State,Barack Obama, is the Antichrist,i totally disagree with people that he is. Then if Obama is not the Antichrist then who is?
1 John 4:1-3 "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already" so any lying spirit is the spirit of the Antichrist. If you don't believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God,or as the messiah of the world,you have tagged yourself as the Antichrist.So stop looking for Antichrist when one is with you,and that is you. If you don't accept Jesus as your lord and personal saviour you are an Antichrist.  The bible also say something in 2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Such a one is the deceiver and the Antichrist"   The bible is saying the same thing if we do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh then you are the Antichrist,so there are lots of Antichrist on earth,so stop accusing someone of being the Antichrist when you have not settle your scores with your creator.
False pastors,prophets and teachers that goes about saying what God never asked them to talk,performing fake miracles,using demonic power to deceive people listen,if you don't repent,then you are the Antichrist.Matthew 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect". This is an eye opener,if you are deceiving your member as a man of God then you are the Antichrist.

ETERNITY IN HEAVEN OR HELL

This is one of the topic where no one can actual put a fact if it is true or not. The existence of heaven and hell. The Bible makes it crystal clear about the reality of these two places,the question now is,do they really exist? The problem is once you are no more you can't come back to tell people if it is the truth and if you  eventually come back through a miracle no and you tell people your experience you had after life,not everyone will believe you,some will think you just cook up the stories to infuse fear into them,or to believe in the existence of the place. Hebrew 11:6  talked about a city,Revelation 21:27 talks on how no unrighteous person can enter. Heaven has been describe as peaceful,no pain,no sorrow,full of joy.
Hell on the other is a place of torment where those that refuse to accept Jesus as their personal Savior spent their eternity. The question now is how many people believes in all these story, they are not story but facts but how can we proof the unbelievers when they do not have personal experience. 2 peter 2:4 talked expressly about hell. CHRISTIAN AND TATTOO

Tattoo is a form of body modification. It can also be said to be a process by which pigment(ink) is permanently implanted under the skin. Tattoo is now a subject matter,whether it is right for Christian to have tattoo. Many have said that we are not under the law,that a christian can have tattoo. What does the bible really say about tattoo. The thing is the bible mentioned "tattoo" once and it was in Leviticus 19:28. God warn against making any cut on the body for the dead for put any tattoo mark on yourself. When you look critically at that scripture Leviticus 19:26 "Do not eat meat that has not been drained of its blood".and in verse 27 "Do not trim the hair in your temple or trim your beards. Definitely Christians eat non-kosher meat and get haircuts without participating in any idol worshiping. So if Christian does this and they are not sin,why then should tattoo which is in verse 28 of the same chapter be the subject matter. This controversy issue should be dealt with by using the scripture in Roman 14:12-23.
The question should not longer be whether to tattoo or not, The question you ought to ask yourself are "what are mine motive tattooing?, Am i using it to draw attention to God or Myself? Will my tattoo cause someone who is weak in faith to stumble? When all these questions and several conscience checking question come across  your mind then you will then know better if it is right to have a tattoo.
So is the tattoo on your skin glorifying God or pulling your brother to sin.

 There are several men of God who touched people's life with their selfless service to mankind,maybe forgotten,below is the summaries of their life on earth,you can search to know more about them.

JACK HYLES

Jack Hyles born September 25 1926 and died February 6 2001,he was a great figure in the Independent Baptist movement,having pastored the First Baptist Church of Hammond in Hammond Indiana from 1959 until his death.He was an innovator of church bus ministry that brought thousands of people from surrounding town to Hammond for service. Jack Hyles built the First Baptist Church from a fewer than a members to a membership of 100,000.The church increased dramatically that it became the talk of America. He built schools,helped the poor and gave to the needy. He prophesied about the rise of Obama in 1970.





EVANGELIST BILLY SUNDAY

William Alley "Billy" Sunday born November 19 1862 and died November 6 1935 was an American athlete who,after being a popular outfielder in baseball's National League during the 1880s,became the well celebrated influential America evangelist. He was dedicated to the work of God,though questioned were raised  about his income but there was nothing found wanting in his life,he loved his wife and did the work of God with his heart,though his children disappointed him,his congregation grew smaller as he grew older,he never seize doing the work of God. He  was fully dedicated to the course,that is to win soul to the Kingdom of  God.







DR.JOHN R.RICE

Dr. John R .Rice(professor),born December 11,1865 and died December 29 1980, was a Baptist evangelist and pastor and the founding editor of the famous "The Sword of the Lord"an influential fundamentalist newspaper. He was endlessly for Christ,even at his old age he goes to his office to attend to people not minding his decline in hearing,He was away from home doing the work of God,he was away for thirty years of his forty-five years of ministration.You can see how these men gave their all to see that the work of God is done.

PASTOR D.L MOODY

D.L Moody,as he is commonly known,was born February 5 1837 and died December 22 1899. He is the founder of the Moody Church,Northfield school and Massachusetts( now Northfield Mount Hamon School),the Moody bible institute and the Moody publishers.There is a claim he is the greatest evangelist in the 90s. He worked hard to see that the gospel was preached.

According to the scripture,in the end time,expect widespread deceptions,counterfeits miracles, and the appearance of false prophets. These false attribute will make people to follow the wrong way according to Proverb 14:12, many doing the wrong thing assuming they are heading the right way.  Paul tell us that those who are caught by the web of the Anti-Christ will be guilty because they deny the truth whereby enjoying the deceit being cooked by the devil followers.
Signs of End Time
1  Fake Pastor will be more money hungry,leaving the salvation message for the more appealing prosperity message. "The give theory" (Luke 6:38). They will be smooth talker,have many follower and slur Christian faith.(2 Peter 2:1-3)

2 Homosexuality would be increasingly evident. You can see clearly, same marriage encourage in some part of the world.(2 Timothy 3:3)

3 Earthquake will be in diverse places.(Matthew 24:7)

  There so many signs given in the bible which are seen clearly in our today. The question now is if we are in the end time, when is Jesus coming?
Most people do not believe in His coming. I am not asking any one to believe but the signs are clear.
